Tickets
The Beyond: Georgia O'Keeffe and Contemporary Fine art and Candida Höfer in Mexico are ticketed together.
Special extended hours: The Museum will exist open x am to 9 pm on Saturday, Jan 19, to celebrate the exhibition's closing weekend. Both buildings will be open, including the Museum Shop and Iris later Dark: Closing Saturday Edition.
- $18 Adults
- $xv Seniors, military, college students with ID, groups of 10 or more
- $12 Youth 7–eighteen
- Gratis for children half dozen and under
- Free for member's beginning visit; subsequent visits 50% off
- Complimentary for college students with ID, Fridays 5–9 pm
- Free for prearranged school groups (x students or more) + 1 developed per 10 students. Boosted adults with the tour: $fifteen, if reserved four weeks in advance.
- $ix for youth in groups of x or more (not part of a school tour); $18 for chaperons
Policies
- Nonflash photography for personal utilize is permitted, except where noted otherwise. Share your photos using #NCMAokeeffe and tagging @ncartmuseum.
- Tripods and video cameras are prohibited.
- Sketching with graphite just is allowed at the discretion of security staff.

Educatee Art: Artwork from six schools across North Carolina shows how students have interpreted O'Keeffe's fine art to inspire their own creativity.
PARKING AND ACCESSIBILITY
Parking
Visitor parking is free and available in the Blue Ridge lot, on the right after entering the Museum drive. Overflow parking is behind W Building, on the left subsequently entering the Museum drive. Company drop-off is located between West and East buildings and tin exist reached by turning left after entering the Museum drive and following the signs.
Accessibility
In addition to our general Museum accessibility, nosotros are including additional accommodations for visitors to The Beyond.
For visitors with low vision:
Wall labels throughout the exhibition use big-size text.
Large-print wall label text booklets available at the ticket scanning station.
For visitors sensitive to loud noises:
- Noise counterfoil headsets are available from the Box Office.
For visitors who are deaf:
- Docent-led tours of the exhibition with an American Sign Language interpreter are offered Sabbatum, October 27, and Saturday, Nov 17, at 1:30 pm. A one pm exhibition ticket is required. Purchase tickets here.
- Register for the tour by calling (919) 664-6743 or transport electronic mail. Please specify how many people are in your grouping.
For visitors with mental disabilities or autism:
Quiet viewing hours are offered Saturday, Oct 27, and Sabbatum, December ane, from 9 to 10 am. No tour is offered at this fourth dimension, simply "Ask Me!" docents will be present to respond questions virtually the works in the exhibition.
Too on these dates, a costless sensory-friendly art-making activeness and quiet space are available in Studio 1 (East Edifice, Level A) from nine am to eleven am.
How long does it take to experience these exhibitions?
Most visitors will likely spend near one hour in The Beyond, and an additional 30 to 45 minutes in Candida Höfer in United mexican states.

While the exhibitions are suitable for all ages, please note that some works of art in The Beyond feature nudity.

The Exhibition Shop is open during exhibition hours. As well visit the main Museum Store in West Building for fashion items, art books, beautiful creative person-crafted jewelry, and educational toys, books, art kits, and games. At that place are items for every budget and all occasions.

The Museum offers two dining options: Iris, a full-service eating place, and Sip, a coincidental coffee bar, both in W Edifice.
Iris, West Edifice
Iris is a sophisticated, full-service eating house featuring contemporary American cuisine with regional and international flavors in a distinctly modern setting. Specializing in seasonal fare using many locally sourced ingredients, the Museum restaurant, led by chef Andy Hicks, features culinary works of art that showcase a complex culture of flavors.
